B601 – HIGH STRENGTH RETAINER
Bondloc B601 is a high strength anaerobic retaining compound suitable for permanent bonds, its low viscosity makes it suitable for filling small gaps.
The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces.
Ideal for all types of cylindrical parts, such as bearings, gears, splines, pulleys and keyways.
- Colour: Green
- Viscosity: 100 – 150cps
- Gap Fill: 0.15mm
- Pin & Collar: >15N/mm² (ISO 10123)
- Prevail Torque: 25 – 50Nm
- Fixture Time: < 15 mins with activator
- Full Cure Time: 3 – 6 hours
- Min / Max Temp: -55°C – +150°C

Quick tips
- Cures with the absence of air and contact with metal or copper ions
- Excess deposits will not cure and can be easily wiped away
- Clean surfaces prior to use with B7063 Cleaner for improved performance
- Not suitable for use on Plastics or Oxygen rich systems
- The bottle is only half full, as air space maintains product stability
- Apply localised heat to remove high strength grades
- Colour of the product helps denote the product strength – Red and Green are high strength
- To increase cure speed on passive and inert materials use B7649 Activator
