A BSPT-M x BSPT-M male hex reducing nipple is designed to connect two female BSPT-threaded ports of different sizes, allowing a reduction in pipe diameter within a system. It features male British Standard Pipe Taper (BSPT) threads on both ends and a hexagonal centre section for easy installation using standard spanners or wrenches.
Commonly used in hydraulic, pneumatic, oil & gas, and industrial piping systems, this fitting provides a pressure-tight seal through the tapered BSPT threads. For optimal sealing, it is typically installed with PTFE tape or an appropriate thread sealant.
