Reducing Bushing

A reducing bushing is a pipe fitting used to reduce the size of a threaded pipe connection by adapting a larger female-threaded opening to a smaller male-threaded connection. It typically features a male thread on the outside and a female thread on the inside, allowing it to be installed directly into an existing fitting or pipe.

Reducing bushings are widely used in plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, oil & gas, and industrial piping systems where a compact and efficient size reduction is required without changing the overall system layout. They are available in multiple thread standards such as NPT, BSPT, BSPP.
