An NPT-M x NPT-F street elbow pipe fitting is a precision-engineered component used to change the direction of flow—typically by 90°—in fluid, pneumatic, hydraulic, or instrumentation systems. It features one male National Pipe Taper (NPT-M) threaded end and one female NPT (NPT-F) threaded end, allowing connections where a compact directional change is needed without extra adapters.
This configuration is especially useful in tight or confined spaces where a direct connection between male and female NPT-threaded lines is required, such as routing around obstacles or connecting into existing NPT ports on valves, gauges, sensors, or equipment.
