The MD SAFEMAX solenoid valve series is engineered with built-in sensor technology that continuously monitors the spool position. This enables swift and safe depressurisation of the pneumatic system in emergency scenarios. When in the rest position (normally closed), the sensor activates, illuminating the LED and closing the electrical contact. Single-channel versions are classified as Category 2 and can achieve Performance Level D, while double-channel versions meet the requirements for Category 4 and can reach Performance Level E under ISO 13849-1. Important: These safety valves must be installed in full compliance with ISO EN 13849-1, and must be used in conjunction with a suitable safety monitoring device to ensure a complete and effective safety function. The Series MD SAFEMAX complies with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the ISO 13849-1 standard, providing safe and reliable performance for machine control systems tasked with delivering safety-critical operations. *Accessories sold separately
